Would you read about Noah's Ark?

Reading has become a much-underrated activity today. With the technological distraction, there is no time to pick up a book and read quietly. Only the bookworms know the pain of it. While many love reading fictional books, there are still many who don’t read philosophical or religious books. It may not be their cup of tea, but one could try with an open mind. Those who do start reading are either in a dark phase of life or just caught the curious coat on. They have a question like is heaven a real placeOr woulda loving God send good people to hell

It is your choice

You can start by reading books like Why God, Easy to Read Bible Stories and Moses written by Eric Klein. The books are an adaptation of the bible, but in simpler words both for adults and children. It answers a lot of questions one may generally have like is hell a real place

But we would also understand the hesitation as philosophical books don’t rub easily on many. It can be for many reasons-

Atheism

This is maybe one of the reasons why you wouldn’t want to read such books. Atheism a belief system many have adapted for many years, by choice. It is, in the broadest sense, a lack of belief in the existence of deities. Less broadly, atheism is a dismissal of the belief that any deities ever existed. In a narrower sense, atheism is particularly the position that there are no deities at all. Whatever be the reason for owning this belief system, it should be respected.

Life incidents

There have been cases where people once believed in Jesus/God, but after a ghastly incident or experience in life, they chose not to be friends of God. It can happen the opposite way too, i.e., not believing t fist but after a certain incident, you start believing. Hence, if it does, you could read about the worldwide flood

There can be many other reasons not to indulge in such books. You can be bored, don’t understand, have different preferences, have no time, simply hate reading, etc. But if you do change your mind, have a read and introspect if it made a change within you? Only that matters in times of truth-seeking and darkness. The stories as guidance to change, perhaps for a lifetime.
