Father’s Day Special

Hopefully everyone had a safe and enjoyable Father’s Day weekend. I would like to remind all parents that all young children who are still at the age for bedtime stories are at an impressionable age. For them, the stories have a way of coming to life. Regardless of who reads to them, the child’s imagination will be able to interact with the characters in the story. It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I write this blog today. We are all used to seeing some amount of violence on our television. In fact, it has become such a regular thing in our society, most of us have become complacent to it. In other words, we see so much of it everyday that instead of becoming angry about it we have trained ourselves to learn to accept it as “the new normal” and consider it to be disconcerting.
