It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I write this blog today. We are all used to seeing some amount of violence on our television. In fact, it has become such a regular thing in our society, most of us have become complacent to it. In other words, we see so much of it everyday that instead of becoming angry about it we have trained ourselves to learn to accept it as “the new normal” and consider it to be disconcerting. In my book, Easy to Read Bible Stories: Genesis , God warned Cain not to allow his feelings overtake his common sense or he would certainly regret it; unfortunately, we all know how that turned out. Thousands of years later, mankind has gone through one trial and tribulation after another. God even destroyed the entire world in an effort to cleanse all the evil in the world and start anew.
