There is so much of dearth, destruction, panic, negative desires, and starvation universally that sometimes God seems to be the only answer. To add to that is the frightening pandemic ruling the world today. There is also uncertainty, perplexity, and worrisome feelings within us that need to be explored, and reading books related to the bible may help make positive pathways. We know many do not confide in religious books for their own reasons. It is but natural to take comfort in God for others. They feel safe and secured in reading books that answer questions like  would a loving God send good people to hell ?  There are many books that have been adapted from the Bible. Hopefully everyone had a safe and enjoyable Father’s Day weekend. I would like to remind all parents that all young children who are still at the age for bedtime stories are at an impressionable age. For them, the stories have a way of coming to life. Regardless of who reads to them, the child’s imagination will be able to interact with the characters in the story. It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I write this blog today. We are all used to seeing some amount of violence on our television. In fact, it has become such a regular thing in our society, most of us have become complacent to it. In other words, we see so much of it everyday that instead of becoming angry about it we have trained ourselves to learn to accept it as “the new normal” and consider it to be disconcerting.
